The Hudson Union® is one of New York City's most celebrated institutions that provides a special intimate place where leaders connect directly with the public. The Hudson Union is known as an essential cultural force with an eclectic range of leaders regularly visiting, speaking unfiltered, and challenging conventional beliefs.

We engage members from all walks of life who have a shared curiosity and a passion for expanding their minds through dialogue with each other, and with leaders from around the world across disciplines and cultures.

We focus on uniquely intimate, stimulating exchanges that bring unexpected perspectives and surprising insights.  We are not afraid to be shocked, challenged and disrupted into fresh thinking and fresh perspectives.

We focus individually and as groups in applying these lessons in leadership to help change our world for the better - in whatever way and whatever scale is meaningful to us.

The Hudson Union was created many years ago by Joe Pascal, an American and Louise Mensch, former Member of the British Parliament. They had the support of Her Royal Highness Princess Badiya of Jordan, an advocate for interfaith and cross-cultural understanding. These three Oxford University graduates: a Jew, a Christian and a Muslim, collaborated to launch a Union to provide the public with access to some of the most diverse, relevant and powerful leaders in the world today, such as they had the privilege of hearing from during their days at Oxford.
